In the beginning
Founded in 1938 and 1925 respectively, both Adel Fasteners and Wiggins Connectors have had a long history in the aerospace industry with strong brand name recognition. Adel, in particular, has become synonymous with specialized, vibration absorbing clamps, with such components commonly referred to in the industry as "Adel Clamps". Likewise, the Wiggins name has become synonymous with fluid connectors.
AdelWiggins designs, manufactures and sells an extensive line of high-quality, custom designed products, primarily aerospace-related fluid line components such as flexible connectors, quick disconnects, clamps, heaters and hoses, and refueling systems. The company's technical expertise, responsiveness, and ability to move quickly through the prototype and certification process have established it as a leader in its market.

Many of AdelWiggins products offer superior engineering characteristics and functionality relative to those of its competitors. The company designs its products specifically to meet the engineering requirements of its customers. focusing on aspects such as reduced or low-profile geometry, broad range of high-temperature service, ease of installation where possible, and utilization of advanced materials to maximize the strength-to-weight ratios of its components.

AdelWiggins is certified to the AS9100-2016 Revision D and ISO 9001:2015 standards. AdelWiggins Quality System is accepted by the FAA as part of our Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA). Our system meets the exacting standards of a wide customer base, including the Boeing Company, Northrop Grumman, Honeywell, Hamilton Sundstrand, G.E., MHI, Learjet, Bombardier, Caterpillar, Komatsu and many others.

AS9100 was published by SAE - Society for Automotive Engineers in 1999. AS9100 resulted from cooperation between major aerospace corporations - American Aerospace Quality Group (AAQG) - with input from ANAB and the Independent Association of Accredited Registrars (IAAR)
Major manufacturers in the aircraft and aerospace industry identified quality suppliers as a valuable link in the supply chain. Instead of writing their own quality management system standard, the manufacturers chose to build off the well-known ISO 9001 quality management system standard. By incorporating sector specific supplier requirements, the aircraft and aerospace industry established AS9100 as quality standards.

Nadcap recognizes AdelWiggins for its commitment to continual improvement in aerospace quality.
AdelWiggins received Nadcap accreditation for demonstrating their ongoing commitment to quality by satisfying customer requirements and industry specifications.
