AdelWiggins provides special connectors to serve high performance applications. AdelWiggins' quick disconnect couplings are used in Military and Commercial aircraft, Space Launch Vehicles, Nuclear and Bio-Medical industries. These applications require couplings to handle a variety of fluids, including coolants, fuel, hydraulic, and cryogenic fluids while maintaining minimal leakage, air inclusion and pressure drop. In addition, a wide variety of frangible connectors are available to prevent leakage of fluids where crashworthiness is required.

  • Quick Disconnects for general purposes, electronic cooling, hydraulic fluids, and hydrocarbon fuels

  • Materials include both anodized aluminum and stainless steel 

 

  • Dust Plugs and Caps available. Part numbers are EC209-(SIZE) or EC208-(SIZE) for plug and cap respectively
     

  • Very minimal fluid leakage and air inclusion during connection / disconnection
     

  • Available with multiple end fittings such as MS33677, MS33656, and MS33657
     

  • Applicable specifications: MIL-C-7413B, MIL-C-25427A, MIL-E-5400H
     

  • Operating pressure: 50 to 125 Psig, Proof Pressure: 250 to 400 Psig, Burst Pressure: 600 Psig

9100 Series Couplings

  • Design minimizes air inclusion and fluid loss. Nipple poppet seal also serves as the interface seal, eliminating spillage when connected or disconnected.
     

  • Many end fitting configurations
     

  • Designed to minimize weight, envelope size, and the travel length required to connect.
     

  • Temperature Range: -65°F. to +475°F. (depending on 0-Ring material). 
     

  • Available in Aluminum or CRES

9200 Series QDs

  • Simple latching mechanism increases reliability, yet provides a smooth, positive latch eliminating partially-locked positions.
     

  • Many end fitting configurations
     

  • Relief valve available in nipple half. Cracking pressure range from 10 to 200 PSIG.
     

  • Designed to minimize weight, envelope size, and the travel length required to connect.
     

  • Operating pressure: 125 PSIG, proof pressure: 250 PSIG, burst pressure: 375 PSIG
